Busch Light has been on a tremendous hot streak, as the brand’s popularity soars not only in the Midwest, where Busch Light is the gold standard for beer, but in new markets across the country. On the heels of this success Busch Light decided to create a Super Bowl spot which would mark the first major presence the brand would have in the game in five years. Busch Light and Grammy Award-Winning Saxophone legend, Kenny G, came together to create the spot “Head for the Mountains” which paid homage to Busch Light’s 1979 vintage jingle with a modern rendition. While the spot was a local one it aired in 41 markets across the country making it a national effort in scale.
